Principally Contemporary Dance disciplines, Jazz styles, Street, African and Caribbean influences UK: A regular spell 1987-91 with English choreographer Matthew Hawkins was interspersed by brilliant projects with the companies of Lloyd Newson - DV8, and Lea Anderson - The Featherstonehaughs, and others.  Early principal performance influences at the variable cutting edges of British contemporary dance provided a strong platform for the invasion of Europe in the 1990s.  

Holland: Hans Tuerlngs’ RAZ, Cosmic Illusion and Shusaku and Dormu Danstheater provided pitiable fodder in 1991-1996 during which Robert Eugene attended Beppie Blankert’s near-exclusive Dansers Studio project for training and choreographic research.     Austria: Tanz Atelier Sebastian Prantl 1993 and 1996
